Personality: Originally Meliadoul was almost no different than her brother, Isilud, when it came to implicitly trusting and obeying those of higher order. After all, what parent would lie to their children and use them for religious and political gain? But after the War of the Lions all of that has changed. Though she is devout in protecting those who cannot protect themselves, her ability to trust others has been significantly damaged in the wake of her family's downfall and the subsequent smear-campaign of a trust post-war ally. Having faced the High Seraph Ultima at the side of Ramza and crew, Meliadoul looks at the current state of affairs throughout Ivalice and can't help but be disgusted. But she maintains proper decorum in order to keep face.
Intelligent and unforgiving, Meliadoul is not one to be easily fooled as she once had been. Nor does she trust others at the drop of a hat. Her tests of loyalty are ruthless and she keeps to herself and her tasks given to her by the church and the royal family. While she maintains a stoic exterior of formality and chivalry, her inner psyche is a raging storm of chaotic vengeance of which she takes out on rookies and trainees by the dozens.
